Ratings, ranks and XP
You have a separate rating for every rule set and time category: Bullet (under 3 min), Blitz (3–8 min), Rapid (8–25 min) and Classical. Time is estimated as base time + 40 × increment. Everyone starts at 1200. Ratings stay provisional (shown with a ?) for your first 10 games. Every finished game earns XP towards your level, with bonuses for win streaks, daily play and achievements.
